Subject	7 psi still! whats wrong?

Message	ok when i first got the car it had a knock sensor code that kept the car in safe boost mode. i bypass it by soldering a resistor in the sensor and cleared the knock sensor code. but i am still getting on 7 psi boost. what else can be wrong, the only code i have left to clear are the o2 sensors. will the o2 sensor put it in safte mode also? scratching my head! help! want to get 14 psi!!!
